APPMA Announces The National Pet Owners Survey Overview

Join us at Global Pet Expo on March 24th from 2:00-3:00pm for an in-depth discussion of the findings in the 2005-2006 APPMA National Pet Owners Survey. There is no charge for exhibiting members to attend this informative session, which will include an overview of how to make the best use of your Survey, tips on using the data in planning for your company and a review of the national statistics for pet ownership. The presentation will also include information on:
- How the retail marketplace has changed in terms of how and where pets are obtained
- How the Internet has helped pet owners learn more about their pet and new pet products
- The changes in pet owners’ use of nutritional and specially formulated pet foods
- Arrangements that are made for a pet’s care when the owner travels
- What “luxuries” pet owners are buying for their pets
The presentation will also preview some new question areas that will be included in the 2007-2008 National Pet Owners Survey.
One-on-one consultations with Survey Analyst, Fran Berger, will also be available at the trade show to review the 2005/2006 National Pet Owners Survey data. This is a great opportunity to have your specific questions answered!
