The APPA Professional Women's Network is expanding its reach to the Orlando community at the 2015 show. The group's new initiative will support local shelter The Harbor House by creating hygiene kits for women and their children that seek shelter when put in a dangerous situation.
“Harbor House works to prevent and eliminate domestic abuse in Central Florida by providing critical life-saving services to survivors, implementing and advancing best practices, and educating and engaging the community in a united front.”
Please help us make a difference in the lives of these families by joining with your friends and colleagues to assemble hygiene kits. Everything you need will be set up in room W202A at the Orange County Convention Center from 10 am to 2 pm on Tuesday, March 3. Come by anytime during those hours and spend 30 minutes or as long as you have time to spare. Refreshments will be provided.

Besides women and children seeking shelter, often they are bringing their dogs with them. We are looking for any dog food, pet treat exhibitors to supply The Harbor House with trial sizes for the dogs. If you should have any extras you would like to donate, please contact Marian Thielsen at 203-532-3601 or email email@example.com.
