We are looking for outgoing, intelligent individual to be our Sales Manager. The primary responsibility will be as follows:

  • Obtain placement of Pet products with major Chain Stores
  • Attend Trade shows
  • Meet or exceed quarterly sales goals

o   Accountable for bringing in new opportunities/expanding the product line for each account

o   Build and manage an result-driven Independent Sales Rep team

American Wood Fibers, a rapidly growing manufacturer of pet bedding and other products, seeks a Sales/Marketing/Key Accounts Coordinator based at its Columbia, Maryland Headquarters.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop new sales and profit growth opportunities

  • Monitor, analyze, review and report on relevant sales and marketing activities

  • Obtain greater market share through customer outreach programs and strategic marketing campaigns

  • Define, develop, and implement sales and marketing strategies

  • Develop sales presentations for accounts  including new products and product positioning strategies as well as deliverables

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent business experience

  • Experience in account management of major CPG retailers and national distributors

  • Demonstrated experience using internet portals of national accounts

  • Ability to generate, interpret and analyze sales and market information

  • Previous supervisory experience a plus

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills

  • Some travel required (up to 25%)
