“Pink” Pet Products Support Breast Cancer Awareness

-The American Pet Products Association shares pet products that support breast cancer research in honor of October and Breast Cancer Awareness Month-

  Greenwich, CT– Bob Vetere, president of the American Pet Products Association (APPA), is pleased to present the pet product manufacturers that are generously donating a portion of designated breast cancer pet products to promote breast cancer research and increase awareness.

 Below are “pink” pet products in which a portion of proceeds benefit breast cancer research:

Kurgo®, makers of pet travel and safety products, are now offering a pink version of their Tru-Fit Smart Harness and Wander Leash. This is a simple to use walking and car safety harness that provides a comfortable, secure way to travel. They will be donating 5% of profits from each Pink Tru-Fit Smart Harness sold, to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.


In an effort to aid in breast cancer awareness Multipet International, INC makers of innovative pet toys has created the Pink Loofa Dog for Breast Cancer. Each of these toys has a pink ribbon embroidered on its chest as a reminder of the effort to conquer this disease. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to help find a cure.


Coastal Pet Products, Inc. donates a portion of the profits of each of their top quality dog collars and dog leashes to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation to fund awareness, education, research and treatments.   These unique dog collars and leashes are lined with pink ribbons to raise awareness for the cause and are made out of nylon.


Wild Delight® is teaming up with the American Cancer Society® to help fight breast cancer.  As Wild Delight® debuts its new Advanced Formula packaging, it is also unveiling its collaboration with the American Cancer Society with a recognizable pink ribbon!  An annual donation to the ACS will be made by D&D Commodities Ltd., manufacturer of Wild Delight®.
