It’s National Cat Health Month: Cat Owners Have More Options than Ever to Maintain Their Cat’s Health
- The American Pet Products Association and its members promote cat health this month and all year long with trendy new products -
(Stamford, CT) – The American Pet Products Association (APPA) promotes responsible care for all pets but in honor of National Cat Health Month (February) all focus is on the felines. According to the 2017-2018 APPA National Pet Owners Survey, 47 percent of U.S. households own a cat, that’s nearly half the country! Yet, only 37 percent of cat owners take their cat to the veterinarian once a year. While it is definitely recommended for cats to have at least one checkup a year to ensure no major health problems are present, there are some ways owners can help to maintain proper health at home and give cats the best possible chance at a long, healthy life. Below are products manufactured by APPA members designed to help maintain optimal health.
