APPA Members Donate a Lot of Pet Products To Aid Atlanta Shelters
Greenwich, CT, March 10, 2003 — At the close of the American Pet Products Association (APPA) 45th Annual Pet Products Trade Show, held February 26–28, in Atlanta, GA., APPA members donated a lot of pet products to the Southern Hope Humane Society.
The Southern Hope Humane Society (SHHS), a rescue group that keeps pets in foster homes in the Northern metro area of Atlanta, was given a 24-foot truckload of pet supplies plus a vanload of pet food. “These donations came at a great time for our organization, as we were very low on food. The donations will enable SHHS to care for many more animals,” said Stacey Hall, president of Southern Hope. “The pets in our program are very happy with all of the treats and wonderful beds! These are both things that our budget does not usually allow for.”
SHHS plans to share the product donations with other shelters, rescues and humane societies around the area.
