Tis’ the Season to Give Pet Gifts That Keep on Giving

- Pet Product Manufacturers Unleash New Breed of Products That Raise Money for Pet Charities Just in Time for the Holidays-

GREENWICH, CT., June 8, 2005 – If giving is better than receiving, giving pet gifts this holiday season just got better. Pet owners can feel good about pampering their pooches while supporting a worthy cause at the same time thanks to a growing number of companies offering products designed specifically to raise money for charitable organizations. According to the American Pet Products Association (APPA) 2005-2006 National Pet Owners Survey, close to 154 million pet owners are expected to spend $2.6 billion on pet gifts this holiday season. If some of those shoppers select fundraising products- charities and the animals and people they help are poised to receive a gift of their own.

            Pet products that keep on giving this holiday season include:
