Retail Market Tour & U.S. Pet Marketing Briefing at Global Pet Expo

With a background in marketing, market research, innovation and consulting with clients across many industries, Sherry shares visionary foresights combined with practical strategies. Sherry's view of health and wellness is beyond our own personal health and wellness and includes how we collectively think of the health of our pets.

 Sam Smith, Client Manager of CPG Manufacturers, Nielsen IQ

Sam has been with NielsenIQ for 6 years, supporting CPG manufacturers across a wide variety of industries and retail channels. He utilizes data from Scan RMS, Panel, and E-Commerce to provide comprehensive trend analysis and build industry leading thought leadership. Previously a Vet major before going to Business school, the Pet world has always been a passion for him. Like several other households last year Sam joins the adoption trend, welcoming a rescue cat to his home of two rescue dogs. Sam holds both an MBA in Brand Management & Pricing, as well as a BSBA in Marketing & Game Theory Economics.

Andrea has been with NielsenIQ for nearly 10 years, supporting retailers across a wide variety of channels and store formats. Food Export USA Programs

Food Export USA is comprised of several non-profit state regional trade groups that help small- and medium-sized companies explore exporting. Activities are funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Foreign Agricultural Service. APPA has partnered with the agency to provide our U.S. members with information on how to access services that support international trade.

The Market Builder Program assists U.S. exporters looking to launch their product in international markets, find new distributors or importers, and receive valuable feedback about their product. The program has two components:

Market Scan: uses in-market representatives to provide in-depth research including a distribution analysis, competitive product shopping, importation analysis, distribution referrals, and target importer profiles.

Rep Finder: an in-market representative facilitates direct meetings between your company and a select group of targeted importers. Includes distributor referrals and a target importer list.
