(Stamford, CT) – American Pet Products Association (APPA) CEO Steve King is pleased to announce the hire of Linda Carbone as Program Director, Member Relations and Business Development. In her role, Carbone is responsible for development and implementation of meaningful member benefit programs and providing effective and efficient member communication and customer service.
“Ensuring the vibrancy of The Association through our membership is a very important aspect of our operations,” said King. “On behalf of the APPA Board and staff, we are all excited to add Linda to our team.”
Prior to joining APPA, Carbone served as Associate Trade Marketing Manager for Ascensia Diabetes where her responsibilities included assisting in creative development of retail programs and retail industry project and trade show management. She also worked in marketing at Bayer Healthcare for more than 10 years prior to joining Ascensia Diabetes. Carbone obtained her bachelor’s degree in business administration marketing from Mercy College in New York.
