Time to Get Pet’s Health in Check for Pet Wellness Month
- October’s month-long pet observance reminds owners to monitor the health and nutrition of their pets -
(Greenwich, CT) – In observance of Pet Wellness Month this October, the American Pet Products Association (APPA) has announced that many of its members manufacture products aimed at assisting pet owners in monitoring and contributing to pets’ health and wellbeing. Pet Wellness Month serves to educate pet owners about the pet aging process and the importance of twice-a-year wellness examinations, which according to the 2017-2018 APPA National Pet Owners Survey shows that 68 percent of dog owners and 49 percent of cat owners go to the vet for a routine check-up.
