APPA Welcomes New Board Members
- APPA's Board of Directors Welcomes Kenneth Oh and Marty Walker-GREENWICH, CONN., February 6, 2004 - The American Pet Products Association (APPA) is pleased to welcome two new members to its board of directors. Kenneth Oh and Marty Walker have joined 14 other business leaders from around the country who provide leadership and direction for one of the largest associations in the pet industry, APPA.
Oh currently serves as business unit manager for Tetra USA in Blacksburg, VA. He oversees national accounts with major retailers such as PETsMART, Petco and Kmart, as well as new account development and overall strategy and planning. He received a Bachelor of Science in political science from Bates College in Lewiston, ME as well as a Bachelor of Science in microbiology from the University of Rhode Island. Oh has also served on the Dean's Advisory Council for the University of Rhode Island.
Walker currently serves as vice president and general manager for The Iams Company in Dayton, OH, where he oversees the North American business for the company. He earned a degree in accounting from Marian College in Indianapolis, Indiana and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Combined, Oh and Walker have more than 35 years experience in the pet industry.
